Is it really free?
Yes, and it stays free. The people the standard protects never pay, and the people who work beside them are usually the first to notice when an AI tool goes wrong.
Who counts as a professional?
Anyone whose work puts them beside people when they are vulnerable: the lines of work above, and others like them. If yours isn't listed, pick the closest one and tell us your role; a person reviews it.
What do you do with my work email?
We use it to verify your workplace and to send you what you signed up for. We never sell it, and one click unsubscribes you.
My organization's address wasn't approved on the spot.
A person checks every domain the rules can't vouch for, usually within a business day. You'll get an email the moment it's approved, and your colleagues won't have to wait from then on.
Is this the same as ioLite for Institutions?
No. This is free access for you as a professional. ioLite for Institutions covers a whole school, clinic, department or agency, with Guardian on managed devices and audits of the AI tools you license.
